Some 60 people attended the book launch in one2two on 5 November for Dr Eryl Davies’ biography of Dr Lloyd-Jones and Dr Tom Holland’s commentary on Romans.
It was my pleasure once again to accompany some of the members of your church on this year’s historical trip.
7.30pm Thursday 25 February saw 38 people aged 20 to 80 plus excitedly arrive at the Great China Restaurant, near the church.Why? To enjoy a delicious Chinese meal.We invited relatives, friends, colleagues and neighbours for an evangelistic meal.
We invited Patrick and Robyn Johnstone, well known for their work on Operation World, to lead a conference at the church on 20 and 21 February, entitled God is King over all the earth.
On the 22nd and 23rd January the young people of the church went for the annual houseparty to Hebron Hall.

It has become something of a tradition these past few years to mark the end of the academic year with a barbecue and a weekend away.
The International Open House team organized a weekend away at Bournemouth for students to help fill up their Easter vacation.
The International Open House team come up with some wonderful ideas for their programme of events for international students, but perhaps the most ‘madcap’ idea was to get up very early – before the crack of dawn – to watch the sun rise.
This was the theme for this year’s Holiday Bible Club, held each morning from 6th to 9thApril.
At 8.30am on the final Saturday in March, about 40 men of all ages gathered in the church hall for breakfast and fellowship.
On Sunday 19th October 2008 a service of thanksgiving was held at Salem Chapel, Forest Coal Pit, near Abergavenny to mark the 40th anniversary of the death of Rev. W. K. Sharman who had been minister of Heath Church from 1954 to 1961.
