HEATH CHURCH CAMPS – LATEST NEWS (9th JUNE)

You will no doubt be aware of the current government recommendations regarding the Coronavirus. With these in mind, the current situation regarding our camps is as follows:

It is with great reluctance and regret that we have to announce that all camps for 2020 have now been cancelled.

We did not want to have to make this decision and consequently waited as long as we considered reasonable to see what conditions and restrictions on movement and social interaction would likely prevail during the summer. However, it has become clear over recent days that the camps will not be able to run given the current circumstances.

We will shortly be in touch with those who have booked to make arrangements for them to receive a full refund.

We know that God is sovereign and these events are in His hands. We trust that He is working all things for our good and entrust the work of the camps to Him. We hope and pray that we will all be able to meet again soon and look forward to being able to hold our camps in 2021.

These camps are intended to provide a Christian holiday during which the Bible is preached and explained so that Christ is made known and Christians are encouraged and built up. They are run by the Heath Church, and the leaders, chaplains and officers at the camps are appointed by its leaders. Bookings are invited from Christians of other churches, too, and we would encourage them to invite their non-Christian friends to apply.
