Dear beloved

Greetings in Christ, our gracious Lord.
We are doing fine and trust that is even the same with you all in
Wales. God is good.

We need much prayer for the ministry in Haiti.

We need prayer for the boys’ home as we need a responsible
mother or a dedicated couple to help them.
We need much prayer for the girls’ home as the girls are growing
and the ladies in charge need to work together in harmony.

Pray for the new ministry in Ka-Thoman, the church ministry and
the little school as we feed the 25 children twice a week.
We are also working at the little church school building and the
preacher or mission house. Pictures are below.

Have a great week. Much prayer

Here are some prayer subjects;

  1. Please pray for the new church and school in Ka-Thoman
  2. Pray that the new believers will be sincere in their faith in Christ.
  3. Pray that they may grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  4. Pray that the preachers will preach the gospel of Christ with love.

  7. Pray that more people in that community will come to know Christ as their Saviour.
  8. Pray for us that we may have the time to care for each one of them and disciple every one in their new life in Christ.
  9. Pray for us as a family because we need much prayer these days.

Thank you so much for all your prayer and support over the years.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2013 to you all.

Greetings in Christ our Lord and we trust that you are all doing fine in Wales. God is good. Thank you for your concern and prayers.

Yes Hurricane Sandy hit Haiti badly and caused great damage but we praise God for saving our people lives despite that more than 25 people died  in that terrible storm. The people in the south and south east like Jacmel and Marbial are in great difficulties for food supplies because all the roads are destroyed and vehicles can not go there to bring supplies for people to buy, all the  little penetration roads are destroyed. We need to bring food for the boys into Jacmel and men power came and took it to the boys’ home in Marbial.

The church in Lamandier, Conoyer, and Cazale got damaged. We have 3 schools damaged. The people lost their gardens or fields; they lost their pigs, goats, cows, chickens in all the communities where we work. Life has become more and more expensive because there is no road, and vehicles can not go into the communities to take supplies of food and so on.

We hope and pray that doors will be open so we can give the families small credit or loans to start their life again and to buy seed to plant and livestock.

We need much prayer for the community people and the schools – children and parents – because soon their children will not be able to go to school because parents will not be able to give their contribution to the school to support their children in school.

Despite the storm they were some voodoo activities but mostly in Port-au-Prince.

We have good reports from our doctors and we praise God and thank you all for your concern and prayer. God is good.

We will be in touch

Blessings

Dear beloved

Greetings in Christ our gracious Lord.
We are praying for you and trust that you are all doing fine even as we are over here. God is good.
We are doing much better. We have much sleep at night.

The ministry at Ka-Thoman is moving on and we praise God for the  people in the community who are interested in the work as we are planning to start a small school in that community so the younger children could go to school and come to church as well and hopefully the parents will follow as well.
We need much prayer; our God is wonderful and faithful. We are planning our next mission trip with the Delmas church to Ka-Thoman from October the 30th to November the 4th, God willing.  That time is a holiday time reserved for the voodoo to have their festivities in Haiti. No school and shops will be closed.

Need your prayer for the leaders and the people in the community.

Pray for security in our country as well. They have killed a few pastors recently.

Give our regards to the brothers and sisters.

Much prayer

Dear beloved

Greetings from Haiti. We are doing fine and trust that is even the same with you all in Wales. God is good.
We got back after 8 PM last night with our team from our mission trip to Ka-Thoman.

Praise the Lord. Mrs Monique Lundy has accepted Christ as her Saviour. We would value your faithful prayer on her behalf because she comes from a very deep voodoo family background. Her grand father was a voodoo priest as well as her father. But we know that there is power in the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Please pray for Mr and Mrs Jean-Mary Jn.Pierre. Mr Jean-Mary is in charge of the house construction in Ka-Thoman and Mrs Jean-Mary is cooking and taking care of the workers. The voodoo are giving them problem.

We need much prayer because 1st and 2nd November are voodoo festivities over here or Halloween in America. The businesses and schools will be closed.

We are planning another mission trip to Ka-Thoman from October the 31st.

Remember us in your prayer.

We will be in touch
Regards to all

NB The house in Ka-Thoman is under construction; we fixed the roof but no wall. We use plastic tarpaulin for walls and our team was happy to stay there for three days last weekend. Praise the Lord. God is good.

Dear beloved

Greetings in Christ, our gracious Lord.  We are doing fine over here and trust that is even the same with you all in Wales. God is good.

We are sorry for the delay in writing to you. Yesterday we were very busy in two schools with teachers’ meetings to plan the beginning of the school year in October, and we were trying also to fix an old bus truck to take Immacula to the beach to day in order to close the summer holiday.
She is planning to bring to the beach

  1. the 25 girls and  4  home mothers from the Delmas girls home.(Orphanage )
  2. the teachers from the Delmas schools.
  3. the Ladies group from the Delmas church.
  4. the children from the Delmas church, children’s club. She will be busy to day but very happy.

We have 25 girls at the Delmas girls’ home and 14 boys at the Marbial boys’ home. We have just taken our last boy on Tuesday. His mother and father were killed in the Earthquake of January 2010.  We have also his three sisters at the girls’ home in Delmas. They were suffering where they were staying. The person in charge of them burned one little girl and when we knew that we said that we must take action.  We are glad that God used us to help them.

The Delmas girls’ home has a Canadian couple who is taking care of the girls financially, but the boys’ home in Marbial is an adventure of faith because of the children’s need.

We are working on the preacher's house at Ka-Thoman so we can have some one on a regular basis to take care of that Bethesda Mission church,

We are buying the land but do not pay for it as yet.  We need much prayer.
We need much prayer for ourselves because some time I can not sleep well. I only have 3-4 hours sleep and you know that I am a young man of 37 years old but please do not reverse it.    Praise God He is wonderful. We have good health.

Schools will be open 1st October.    We started the Elementary school in Delmas, it is 10 years now but this year we are planning to add the 7th grade in order to help the needy families with their children. Some of those children are very intelligent but they need help.

We would value your prayer for the Ka-Thoman Mission work and   the Delmas church is planning a mission trip next weekend to Ka-Thoman.

More news next time.
God bless you all

4 August 2012

Bonjour our dearly beloved

We are doing fine over here by the grace of God and we trust that is even the same with you all in Wales. God is good.

Last weekend we were in Marbial and on Sunday, about 35 of us from the Marbial church went in a Mission trip to Ka-Thoman, the place where my mother was born in the eighteen hundreds. It was a great visit and we were agreed to start a Bethesda church in that community.

We need much prayer because that place has no gospel witness and the people in the community are my relatives and they are deep into voodoo worship. We have chosen two young men from the church in Marbial to be the immediate leaders of that church under the Marbial church leaders.

We brought them to Port -au Prince Yesterday for Bible school studies and they will start their course in October God willing.

We already plan for two Mission trips to that place with a mission team from the Delmas church in Port-au-Prince to give the backup in door to door evangelisation on August the 24th. to the 27th. and from November the 1 to the 5th. We need your faithful prayer.

We are now buying land and we are building a house for the resident leaders and visiting Mission team.
We will be in touch

Have a great Sunday

God bless
Emma and Martinez

17 July 2012

Thank you so much for your message.  We are so sorry for the delay but we were terribly busy with mission visits and a wedding in the church.

Daniel and family are visiting with us for two weeks from to day and Caleb has been with us since yesterday morning as well for one week.

We would value your prayer for their security so their time with us will be a real time of family blessings.

The ministry is moving on and we praise God for His guidance. We had 5 days V B S* with children 5 to 15 at the Delmas church last week. It was a real blessing for us all.

We are planning to have another one in Marbial from July 26 to August 4th.

We would value your faithful prayer for these spiritual activities in the Marbial community as the school will be closed and children on summer vacation.

During that time we are planning to start a preaching point where my mother was born. This is a place which needs a gospel witness. People in that community just like and practice voodoo. By the way they are my relatives. Please pray for us and the preaching team.

Regards to all

Dear Beloved

We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your hospitality and kindness to us during our recent visit to UK.
We have no words to say “Thank you”; it was a great privilege to receive your invitation and be able to visit our dear Christian friends again.

We had a safe trip back home, but it was difficult for us in the States because of the death and funeral of our niece Nirva, but in all of this God was good to us. We see and experience His comfort to the family. Thank you again for all your prayer.

We went to Marbial early this morning and got back home at 8.15 this evening, and we are going back this weekend for the schoolchildren’s graduation on Sunday afternoon. The construction work in Marbial is almost finished and soon all the classrooms, the kitchen, computer room and everything will be available for the children. Praise God.

Thank you so much for all your help.

Have a great week. Regards to all. Blessings,

We have been with our doctors all afternoon, but praise God that we are not too bad except that she changed some of our medicine for better results in the near future. We praise God for His goodness to us.
The ministry in Haiti is moving on despite of some problems which is the work of the enemy of the church of Our Lord.
We need much prayer for those in leadership.
The pastors’ conference or seminar was a great success last month.   It was a great time of learning and fellowship for every one. God is good.

We have started with a great school year even though we do not have enough places for our students; at Marbial we have over 580 students.
And we have a good number of students in each of the other schools.
We have a good teaching staff this year; our God is wonderful.
We need prayer for the ministry as we are very busy with all the work that we are involved in to encourage our collaborators and staff.
We are planning to do more spiritual work among the children and young people in the Bethesda mission and communities where we are working.
We are looking for more devoted leaders to help us in our ministry. Need much prayer.
Pray for Emma with the medical clinics and ministries among the children as co-ordinator.

Pray for our spiritual life and our leaders and collaborators.
Pray for wisdom and guidance
Pray that God will be glorified in all that we are doing and planning to do in our ministries.

Thank you so much for all your help and prayer.

Dear beloved,

Greetings in Christ our gracious Lord,
Thank you so much for all your prayer; the boys and girls are doing fine. We teach them two verses Ps. 27: 10 and Phil.4: 19
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your concern and prayer.
We are doing fine and our doctor’s report is encouraging.   We praise God and thank you for all your support.  May our God richly bless each one of you.

We praise God for His guidance because the elementary and high school building in Marbial will be ready for school on October 3rd.  We know that the students will be happy to use the new building and not the shelter for school again this year.

We praise God and we thank you so much for all your prayer.

We praise God for new qualified and trained teachers and staff for the schools in Marbial and Delmas.  Praise God for the members of the church in Cabaret who are taking the decision to repair the Cabaret Church even though they are experiencing great financial hardship and difficulties since last year’s earthquake. We are trusting our heavenly Father to provide the necessary funds in the coming year for repairs to the church and the rebuilding of the school in Cabaret and Cazale. God is good.

Praise God for those children and adults who have recovered from the earthquake trauma and shock. God is good.  However, please pray for many other adults and children who are showing signs of post-traumatic stress disorder and are taking to the streets because they are mentally disturbed.

Pray for our government as they attempt to rebuild Haiti.  We need prayer and divine guidance.

Pray for security in our country as we are beginning to see many security problems.  We need much prayer in this area.
Please remember Caleb’s and Daniel’s families in your prayer. Thank you so much for your prayer support.
Please pray for our family and other fellow Christian leaders and Haiti in general.

May our gracious Lord will richly bless you and guide each and every one of you.

We just have a teachers' seminar to day at the Delmas school and plan to have another one in Marbial for the teachers there.

Please pray for our family and ourselves. We need much prayer these days.
We have the Mission OEBB board meeting tomorrow morning Saturday, we need prayer.

We have seen 9 people come and confess Christ as their saviour in one of our Mission tours in 5 days. God is Good. we had another man join the Delmas church last sunday after the morning Service

Please pray for those family members.

The young people's group, coming from all the OEBB churche,s were greatly encouraged after the Bethesda Yought retreat last March and they are planning to meet again next August 12,13 and 14th. for more spiritual times of refreshment.

Pray for the Bethesda ministry as we are preparing leaders and praying that God will use them as He pleases in the ministry.
3 young men are in Bible school but one of them started to be difficult.

Pray for our president as he is planning to do good but is under parliamentary pressure which is not good for our country.
Pray that God will help him out of that situation.

We are doing fine over here despite of some everyday life problems. God is good and we praise Him for
His tender care and protection.

We have had a great time with the young people at Camp last week. Emma saw some changes in some young people’s life and behaviour. God is wonderful.

We are helping 6 families to repair and rebuild their home with the relief money that we have received from Heath church and we are working with some more families and see how we can help them but we have to be very careful the way we do that, so we do not show people that we have all the money in our hand to help people.

Daniel will graduate on 29th April in Toronto but he is planning to come to Haiti at the beginning of April to help us. Daniel and his wife are very interested to come and work in Haiti. We need your prayer.

Please pray for the coming election in our country next Sunday God willing.

We are doing prevention for cholera in the communities where we are working.Emma has a seminar for the young people at Camp and will train Community health workers and encourage our nurse in Marbial and Port-au-Prince to keep going in the programme.

Greetings from Haiti.

We are all doing fine and the work is moving on despite all the situation over here.God is good.
We would value your prayer for the churches. We need leaders – pastors to take care of the churches. We work hard to see that the churches could have their own pastor but yet it has not come about as we were planning it, but we know that God has His own plan.

Ps. 90 v 17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes establish the work of our hands. The prayer of Moses, the servant of God. Yes our God is able.
Pray that God will raise men and women who love God and His people and lead them.

God is good. we are all in good health .

We thank you so much for all your prayer and financial support.

We are now helping the church in Cabaret to build a temporary zink roof building so we can continue to perform the church service in a better place and to do wedding and funerals service as well when necessary.

We will be helping the church at Fond-Blanc to restore their building and the church personage and help some people to repair their little home. We are now helping 2 families in Cabaret to rebuild their little home destroyed by the earthquake.

News will come with pictures next time. There is more families to help but we start with family Prosper Jerome and Frito Desire.

Need much prayer
Regards to you all
Thank you thank you again, God is good

Greetings

We trust that you have had a wonderful Easter. Yes our Lord is risen .

We are all well and trust that is even the same with you all in U K .
We are ready to return home tomorrow Tuesday God willing and we would value your faithful prayer more than ever. We were on the phone with Daniel last night and he told us that the unsecurity is coming back terribly in the country and going on very badly in Haiti . They just kill a pastor, a good friend of our family, he was killed at his home at night the day he was taken some money ( 15,000.00 out of the Bank .Money he receive to rebuild one of the Mission school who was destroyed by the earthquake .
We would ask you not to send money in Haiti to the Mission O E B B at the moment and also do not send over $ 15 000.00 to 18,000.00 a year to our account in Miami.
Daniel will help us to open an account for the Mission O E B B in the States or Canada some time in the future.

We will be in touch. God is good and has a plan for each one of His servant.

Need much prayer. The need is great , the situation is dangerous. God is good.

Blessings
